Um, No Thank You.
For some reason, and I'm no ethnocentrist, I would not trust either of these yahoos to be my spaceship captain on a weeklong vacation to outer space. Maybe it has something to do with the fact they arent "scientists" or maybe it has something to do with the sideburns. Hard to tell.
I feel Richard Branson could somehow turn a groundbreaking paradigm shift in space travel into spring break in Cancun.

Favorite location? I couldn't decide between wetlands and Las Vegas
Click here to create your own painting.
I found a website that creates a painting based on your personality and mood...
Mine looks like something that belongs in the continental breakfast room at a hotel in Vero Beach, Florida.

To Pay Homage to This Wintry Mix Thursday...
Is to find out a little more about Footie Pajamas.
(Also- I dont know that kid, I'll admit it. Please dont have me arrested. Also- If you google "footie pajamas" on flickr, you will discover a disturbing number of adults posing in them. Totally gross) (aside- It is true Annie, that one can google something when not using Google. That should sufficiently blow your minds for a little while)
Know what? just go here-

Ok, now you've really done it. It's the last week of Edward Hopper at the National Gallery and you still haven't gone. Please my lovlies- go forth and get your culture on, for you know whatever cycle marathon of Americas Next Top Model is keeping you from leaving your house will probably be repeated everyday for the next two weeks anyways.

2008- Year in Review (thus far)
Fourth day and boy oh boy, 2008 is flying by! Sure this entry may seem a bit premature but I took a bit of a blogcation to clear this old head of mine. But now I'm back and ready to roar with this very special year-in-review blogisode.
4. I saw No Country for Old Men. I will sum this film up in four points. (Sans spoliers)
1. Started the new year off right with an especially sun-tanned Dick Clark countdown, sloppy champagne toast, ferocious dance party and, as is New Years tradition, a minor altercation involving 14 pairs of slippers and a digital photo frame.
2. Jan One I spent traveling back to DC via train with a killer hangover. Greg slept and I kept entertained by trying not to kill the guy talking real loud on his cell phone behind me.
3. Um wow, almost forgot the best part. I got me a cat! Ana and Scott...surrogate parents at large...gave me PJ Winkleman because I won him fair and square in a game of Texas Hold 'Em. However, I'm experiencing slight post partum depression as it is impossible not to remember what life was like before I had some feline peeing in my bed.
(and that's not actually Master Pee...thats a stock photo of some other cat)
